Do the people you lead know the value in the activities they do each day? When people know why an activity is valuable, they are more likely to do the right thing. They are also more likely to know when they are doing something that does not make sense.

A team leader asked his team to talk about the value of what they were doing every morning. Through this ongoing conversation, the team found numerous instances where something did not make sense. Don’t stop talking about the value with your team. You might just learn something new.
