Have you noticed how the more you try to control life, the more life seems to control you? I’ve seen this in my life when I’ve had big dreams and plans. I take action to achieve my goals and try to control the multitude of variables along the path.

You confront problems with unproductive mindsets when you use control. Who can I blame? Maybe it’s my fault. What choice do I have? None of these will make your problem go away.

No plan is perfect. Despite all your best efforts, things are going to fall off the rails at times. Be ready for it, by being OK to let go of the need to control.

Instead, look with curiosity to understand what’s changed. You’ll know what to do next when you see things clearly.
