There’s a lot of uncertainty in today’s world. While uncertainty is normal, it can leave people feeling fearful, distracted, and anxious.

One of the best ways to normalize what people are feeling is to talk. Talking disempowers fear and anxiety, leaving people feeling supported. When people feel supported, they’re more likely to move through and grow from the experience.

Talk honestly to your team about how you’re feeling. In showing a little vulnerability, you will make it safe for others to do the same. Through this leadership, you will start making it safe to push through the anxiety they’re feeling to find something better. At the very least, the anxiety won’t be driving the bus as much.

You’ve got this.
