Think of the things in your work that you find painful. This painful feeling might have you avoiding or procrastinating in doing a task. How do you respond to such feelings?

When something feels painful to deal with, you might experience self-talk, headaches, or butterflies in the stomach. All of these things are information, and they’re saying you have a problem.

Stop and pay attention to how you’re feeling about the tasks you do each day. What are you feeling? What’s true about these feelings? What are you telling yourself that has you feeling this way?

You are creating your reality no matter how pleasant or unpleasant it may be. Pay attention to how you’re feeling so that you can change your reality. Your reality doesn’t have to include painful tasks.
