I remember many times in my life where I resigned myself to putting up with something. Thoughts such as “what choice do I have” or “I guess I’ll have to put up with this” would run through my mind.

It’s not to say you can fix every problem you encounter, but you do get to decide how you’re going to respond to the problem. You can let a problem consume your thoughts, stress you out, and overwhelm you. Or, you can get clear about the problem, then take responsibility for how you respond.

Only you create and foster the problems in your life. Life and leadership is hard work. Why make it harder on yourself?
