Our RV fridge stopped working while we were on vacation. We run it on propane gas, and it wouldn’t restart. I had done all the usual things, such as cleaning the burner, but nothing seemed to get it running again.
Thanks to a YouTube video, I diagnosed the problem and determined the solenoid valve was the problem.
When I disassembled the solenoid valve, I found that the valve was stuck. With a little bit of cleaning and the problem was fixed.
How often do you look at problems and feel stuck? Being stuck can signify that you’re treating symptoms and not the problem, such as me cleaning the burner.
The next time you’re wrestling with a problem and think you’ve found the solution, ask yourself, “What might be causing this to happen?”
Then keep disassembling to find the problem.
You’ve got this.
