The best time to solve a problem is, of course, before it becomes a problem. It’s at a time when the problem is more of a concern and anxiety is low. When you confront problems early, you will more easily be able to resolve them.
Good leaders want their teams to be transparent, so they know about problems early. Sometimes, what you see can be a little painful to confront. However, without transparency, how will you know the problem exists?
I guarantee you will not fix 100% of the problems you can’t see. So why not make problems visible and improve that score.
