The corporate world often measures leadership by looking at skills, competencies, job titles, etc. I’ve even seen leadership measured by how much someone talks.

Skills, competencies, education, and behaviours are all essential. However, the only accurate measure of leadership is whether others are following.

We are all leaders. Leadership starts with having a vision for something better and taking responsibility for whatever happens on the journey. Leadership is always learning about you and the world around you.

Leadership is a choice. Leadership is not an easy choice, but I can promise it is a rewarding choice.
