Last week, someone gave me the idea of looking at the number of words in my blog. I was shocked to learn I’ve written nearly 250,000 words! The reason I found the number shocking is how much I still doubt the value and quality of my writing.

Malcolm Gladwell said it takes 10,000 hours to master something. If that’s true, then shouldn’t I feel like a master after that many words? My story is an example of why everyone can use a little coaching.

Leadership is about bringing out the brilliance in others, and why the best leaders use coaching skills to support their people. Coaching can help people confront their fears, doubts, and stories. You will be amazed at how far they’ll go by asking powerful questions and getting curious.
