I once had the opportunity to co-lead with one of my mentors. I was nervous and sitting quietly for much of the experience. I didn’t think I was good enough to co-lead with her.
I was telling myself a story with no basis in reality. Despite the lack of reality, my story was real for me. One question changed everything for me, though, “What if you assume you are good enough?”
When you tell yourself a story long enough, the story becomes your reality. However, you can rewrite your stories when you see the story for what it is.
Pay attention to the places you feel stuck. Stories are the things you tell yourself which keep you stuck. Now, you have a choice to make; you can keep telling yourself the story. Or, you can rewrite the story and change your reality.
Which reality will you choose today?
You’ve got this.
