One of the key principles I hold in my work is that I will share my knowledge. The reason for having this principle is two-fold. First, I believe that the more I share, the more I learn. Additionally, I see it as my responsibility to share my knowledge as it will help develop more leaders in the world.

Leadership is not a zero-sum game. The more knowledge you share, the stronger your team will grow. The stronger your team becomes, the more they will succeed.

Having said this, be careful about not imposing your knowledge on them. Unless others ask, I ask permission to ensure teaching is wanted and timely with a question like, “would it be helpful to learn more about …?”

A little knowledge truly can go a long way.

You’ve got this.
