Recently, while teaching The Responsibility Process(R), I was asked if it’s OK to stay in a mindset like Lay Blame, Justify or Quit.

For example, what if you are feeling overworked, and the company has implemented a hiring freeze. You might feel powerless to change this situation as you do not control hiring. However, hiring is only one possible solution to such problems.

When I find myself stuck in a problem, I first look to see how I might be contributing to the problem. Am I acting from obligation, or masking the problem out of some false sense of responsibility. If nothing else, can I shift my mindset and get unstuck?

You create your reality. What are you going to choose?

You’ve got this.
