Have you ever done a trust fall? It’s the thing where you close your eyes and fall backward into the arms of others.

I’ve only done it once, and in this case, my feet were about a metre off the ground when I leaned backward.

Holy crap! It was quite the experience, and I would do it again in a heartbeat with this group. I now trust them explicitly.

At the time, though, we were just getting to know each other. And, while the trust fall did something to spark trust, it was only the beginning.

Trust isn’t something you create in a single event or activity.

Trust requires a shared experience over time between a group of people. Trust is the residue of agreements kept.

Trust takes time that’s worth every minute.

You’ve got this.
