If you’ve seen the movie “Finding Nemo,” you’ll know the adorable yet absent-minded blue fish, Dory. Dory is often swimming along and chanting, “swimming, swimming, just keep swimming.”
Then, before long, she’s forgotten their goal of finding Nemo, the name of her companion (Nemo’s dad, Marlin), or some of the dangers they encounter.
Now, while Dory may want to remember the things that want to eat her, what I love is that she’s not bothered by the past.
No matter what happens, she just keeps moving forward.
We all bump into things that are a problem in our lives. What would be different if you could learn from them, put them aside and keep moving forward.
Where would you be now?
Just keep swimming!
You’ve got this.
