I’m different. We’re all different. And, as much as I embrace my differences, at times, I also try to hide or fix them.
When I put energy into trying to hide or fix my differences, it can bog me down. I get writer’s block or get caught up in my head rather than putting things out in the world.
Honestly, it can be exhausting to try and control my differences.
What if, instead of putting energy into fixing my differences, I embrace them. After all, my differences are what makes me … me.
The same is true for your team. Everyone is different, and rather than working for conformity, you’ll get further by embracing those differences.
