A few weeks ago, I was feeling a little down.

The problems I was working on were becoming a little consuming.

That’s when I turned to a practice that lifts my spirits every time. It’s to spend 5 minutes every day claiming my wins.

A win, by definition, is an intention met. In other words, it’s something I intended to do, and I did it! Also, wins don’t have a size.

A win is different than being grateful for something. You can be grateful for something that you didn’t create (e.g. you can be grateful the sun is out today).

Wins remind me just how powerful, resourceful, and creative I am. Gratitude reminds me just how good life is.

Try spending at least five minutes every day claiming your wins. Better yet, share your wins with your team and encourage them to do the same.

I think you’ll find you’re winning all day, every day.

You’ve got this.
