Most companies have an HR system used for people management. It’s possible, though, the HR system is handcuffing the growth of your people.

As an example, most of these systems have a feature for providing quick feedback. A place where anyone can say, “Way to go!” Or “thank you for …” While a useful function, it might be creating a gap in your teamwork as feedback in a system can lack the opportunity for dialogue and exploration.

Useful feedback is timely and transparent. Offer a bit of timely feedback to three people today. I think you’ll figure out just how easy it is and how big of an impact you can have.
