You talk to people and gather information. You do the research and might even hire outside help. In the end, how do you know you’re about to make a good decision? Unfortunately, you can’t.

No matter how thorough your research, you will never know whether you’re doing the right thing. All you can do is watch where things go once you make a decision. It’s no wonder leaders can become paralyzed when trying to make decisions.

Every day you make hundreds of decisions. Likely many of them work out fine. Others might fail to produce the desired outcome. That’s OK, make another decision and adjust.

Making decisions is the only way I know to get where you want to be.
