It’s possible to be in a leadership role without being a leader. It’s also possible to be a leader without being in a leadership role.

Leadership is a commitment to doing the right things every day. You won’t always get it right, and you might even make a mess some days. However, stay committed to earning your leadership every day, and you will be a leader.

For me, I ask myself how I will create the conditions for success today. Today I might earn my leadership through challenging the status quo. Other days it means talking about the elephant in the room. At times, success needs me to get out of the way.
