I dedicated the first days of 2020 to the topic of feedback, as it is an important topic. Without feedback, you might see a version of reality but might struggle to see things for what they are.

We, humans, are pre-disposed to evaluate our world. You will evaluate problems and put them in a bucket of good or bad. Even when things are good, people tend to evaluate the outcomes with statements like, “I know I could have done better.”

Our ability to evaluate is why everyone needs people who will offer them honest feedback. You don’t have to agree with everything you hear, no more so than others have to agree with your feedback.
