Over the past year, I’ve significantly increased the number of times I’m publishing my writing. Many things are contributing to this success. More than anything, I had to let go of worrying about what others think of my writing.

Leadership is much the same. Leaders can become stuck worrying about what others think of them. You might have to deliver challenging news and are worried they’re going to hate you for it. Maybe the team failed at something, and you’re worried about saying it like it is.

Repeat after me – “What other people think of me is none of my business.” Put that sentence where you’ll see and say it every day.  Then, watch where your leadership takes them when you start believing it.

You’ve got this.
