I spend a lot of time learning. Sometimes, it’s through books and webinars. Other times, it’s through a course. My most significant learning, though, happens through experience.
One of the best ways to build trust with others is to demonstrate that you want to be better than you were yesterday. Showing that you’re open to learning from others says a lot about who you are. This is true even for me as I learn every time I teach a course or coach a team. The way I look at it is that I’m not the only person in the room with knowledge or experience.
People want to live and work in environments that are always improving. People trust leaders who are improving themselves. Improving yourself says, “I’m not stuck in the way it’s always been,” instead, let’s do something even more amazing!
What will you improve in yourself today?
You’ve got this.
