I frequently talk about ownership. Without ownership, I see teams struggling to produce the results they want. I see leaders working harder than necessary to keep things moving in the right direction. I have seen companies fail.

Ownership is something which can only come from within an individual. Ownership happens because a person chooses it. Ownership can never be assigned. Only once a person chooses to take ownership will great things happen.

Are you wondering how to create the conditions for ownership? Start by asking powerful questions. Get them thinking and talking about what has them not taking ownership. Then, help them by creating the conditions in which they can take ownership.
