We, humans, are pretty hard on ourselves. It is easy to focus on failures and struggles while ignoring accomplishments and strengths.

When you fail to claim your accomplishments and strengths, your mind will start asking, “why bother?” This is why it is so important to spend time every day, acknowledging your accomplishments.

Start your next team meeting by having everyone share an accomplishment of theirs. Start an accomplishment journal to capture them for yourself. Go for a walk and think about your accomplishments.

There are many ways to acknowledge all the good stuff in your life. When you can see all the good, I’ll bet you find those problems aren’t that big after all.
