Don’t assume they know how much you appreciate them. A simple “thank you” can go a long way. Mentioning their contributions to the boss will help them feel recognized. Being asked for their help can leave them feeling how much you value them.

The cost of appreciation can be low. The cost of not appreciating them can be high.
