Leaders – Do you have enough hours in the day to get your job done? Is your world a constant stream of interruptions needing your attention? Are you working evenings, trying to get through your day job?
If you answered “yes” to any or all of these questions, you might be holding onto leadership too tight. It’s possible others can only follow you.
To change this reality, start by looking for what’s in the way of them leading at times. It might be information you are not sharing. It could be fear. They might lack a vision for which way to go.
Whatever it is, change something to create the conditions so others can lead with you.
