It might have started as a quiet exchange of different ideas. Then, as the debate continued, it escalated into a heated discussion.

As things escalated, you likely became less and less open to different ideas. Nevertheless, you knew you had the correct answer, and why can’t they see that?

In other words, reality is something you’re defining for yourself.
