Often we see value in the outspoken team member who is quick to share their ideas. Or the team member who is quick to jump into action or sacrifice personal time to get things done.

The person often overlooked, though, is the person who doesn’t work a lot of extra time, quietly listens during meetings and is diligent in the work they do.

You can measure the value a person is providing in many ways. Just don’t get caught up in the noise and forget about the person who’s quietly helping the team succeed every day.
