There are times in my life I believed I was more productive working alone. I thought by not having to listen to others’ ideas, I could make things happen faster. Sometimes, I would do everything in power to avoid having to work with someone else.

What is the impact of working alone? While I might believe in my ability to work through a problem, it doesn’t mean I have all the right knowledge or experience. By allowing others to work with me, it allows for a diversity of knowledge and wisdom.

You have a lot to offer. However, you are never as good as when you are working and sharing ideas with others. The same holds true for your team.
