Think about your team meetings. Do a few people do most of the talking? How often do you end up doing what the biggest talkers were saying?

Often those who talk the most are presumed to be extroverts. Extroverts do their best thinking while talking to others. So, for extroverts, what seems like confidence might only be a wild idea.

Introverts do their best thinking quietly. They tend to take more time before talking. Once they do talk, they tend to have something insightful to say about the topic.

Neither personality type is good or bad. You want both on your team. However, what are you missing if you don’t hear from even the quietest voices in the room?
