On more than one occasion, I have found confusion where I thought there was understanding. When I explained I didn’t get any questions, so I assumed they understood.

Often, people will sit with questions and not ask them. There are many reasons for this happening. They don’t want to look stupid. They will figure it out as they go. And, many more.

The next time you explain something, try asking a powerful question such as, “What is the most burning question on your mind?” Asking like this says I know you have questions and I want to hear them.

Then, give them the space to ask by silently counting to ten before talking again.

Questions bring clarity. Clarity is on the path to success.

You’ve got this.
