A leader is someone others choose to follow. However, what happens when you’re trying to lead, and no-one is following? You could force them to follow you, but that’s not leadership.

There can be any number of reasons others aren’t following your lead. To solve the problem of others not following, start by understanding the problem. Talk to those you want following you. Do they share your values and sense of purpose? Do they feel their voice is being heard? Do they trust your leadership?

I know you’ll figure out what to change when you understand why they’re not following.
